Dr. Longo Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Fellowship Trained Adult Joint Reconstruction

Dr. Joseph Longo is an orthopedic surgeon who believes in exploring less aggressive alternatives before recommending joint replacement. When replacement is the best solution, he utilizes advanced surgical techniques, including minimallyinvasive surgery and wear-resistant implants. He also provides multi-model pain management and accelerated rehab efforts.

Dr. Longo is a graduate of the University of Arizona Medical School and served as a surgical intern in the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Program. He completed an orthopedic fellowship at the Seattle Veterans Administration Medical Center in Seattle and was chosen as an orthopedic research fellow at the Harrington Arthritis Research Center in Phoenix . Dr. Longo completed his studies at the Phoenix Orthopedic Residency Training Program, and maintained his affiliation as a clinical instructor in the following years.

Dr. Longo is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is active in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
